Jaguar F-Pace 2017

The 340hp and 380hp variants of the supercharged gasoline V6 engine are shared with the F-TYPE sports car. These all-aluminum engines are characterized by their immediate throttle response, linear power delivery and unique intake and exhaust sound.
The 90-degree cylinder bank angle enables the roots-type supercharger to be neatly packaged within the vee. Together with direct injection and variable intake and exhaust valve timing, the supercharger helps the engine generate a high torque output throughout the rev range, delivering strong acceleration at all times.

Both variants are matched to eight-speed automatic transmissions and all-wheel drive. The 380hp engine is exclusive to the F-PACE S models, and can launch the performance SÚV from 0-60mph in only 5.1 seconds, on to an electronically-limited top speed of 155mph3.

Koenigsegg Regera 2015

The heart and soul of every Koenigsegg is its Internal Combustion Engine – the ICE. The ICE of the Regera follows the path of its siblings, based on the proven and extremely reliable Koenigsegg drysumped twin turbo, DOHC, 5.0 liter V8.
As before, the Koenigsegg V8 is the most downsized homologated production ICE in the world, with 220 Hp per liter engine (using regular pump gas). The compactness of the engine makes the Regera nimble, efficient and lightweight.
The difference to the Agera engine is that, given the electric propulsion of the Direct Drive system, we did not have to go as extreme on ICE power, as the combined output is way over 1500 Hp and over 2000 Nm torque, anyway. Given this we could install even smaller, faster spooling turbos on the Regera, further enhancing the ICE drivability and response.

Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio 2016

Under the bonnet beats the heart of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, an all-aluminium, 2.9-litre turbo petrol V6 engine, inspired by Ferrari technology and expertise, which produces 510hp and 600Nm of torque, resulting in a top speed of 191mph (307 km/h) and a 0 – 62mph (100 km/h) time of just 3.9 seconds. Despite these high levels of performance, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio also returns best in class CO2 emissions levels at just 198g/km, largely thanks to its electronically-controlled cylinder disabling system and excellent aerodynamics.

Hennessey Venom GT

We have seen the title of the worlds fastest production car being passed from Bugatti Veyron SS and Americas SSC over recent years, but with the introduction of the Hennessey brand there is another big player in the game!
The American tuner, best known for its mind-blowing Vipers, Camaros and Cadillacs, is looking to set a new title with their new Supercar, the Venom GT.
The Venom GT has a reputation for being the world’s maddest supercar. Or really, we should say “hypercar” because this ballistic missile for the road has stormed from 0-100km/h in a mind boggling 2.4-seconds. Yep… 2.4 seconds!

Mercedes AMG GT S Brabus

The Mercedes-AMG GT S already pumps out an eye-watering 503 hp and 479 lb-ft of torque in S specification, but the tuning house has found a way to crank that up to 600 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque. Brabus reports that that's enough to assure a top speed of 201 mph (assuming one has a place where he can safely exercise that speed), and a 3.6 second sprint to 62 mph.

Acura NSX 2016

Specifically created to bring a 'new sports experience' to the supercar §egmènt, the NSX challenges conventional beliefs about supercars — much as the first generation did a quarter century ago. The approach is realized through an all-new power unit—a twin-turbocharged 75-degree DOHC V6 engine wîth a 9-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) and three-electric motor Sport Hybrid system—integrated wîth an ultra-rigid and lightweight multi-material body wîth world's-first material applications and manufacturing processes. Developed under the concept of a 'human-centered supercar,' a car that puts the driver first in every aspect of its design, the next-generation NSX will leverage its state-of-the-art hybrid supercar power unit, body and chassis to deliver exceptionally intuitive and immediate response to driver inputs.

2016 Ferrari F12tdf

The engine is the F12berlinetta's 6262cc 65° V12 on which Ferrari engineers worked to boost maximum power output from 740 cv to 780 cv at 8,500 rpm, yielding a specific power output of 125 cv/l. The engine's sporty response is assured by a maximum torque figure of 705 Nm (up from 690 Nm) at 6,750 rpm wîth 80% already available at 2,500 rpm, resulting in unparalleled, progressive pick-up all the way to the red-line at 8,900 rpm.

All of these factors combine to produce record performance figures: 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and 0-200 km/h in 7.9 seconds in addition to a substantial boost in lateral acceleration. The F12tdf laps Fiorano in just 1'21'.

Aston Martin Vulcan a monster!

The Aston Martin Vulcan is a carbon fiber monster powered by an 800-plus hp 7.0-liter V12. It was designed for the track. Just 24 will be built.
The Avro Vulcan, on the other hand, is an airplane -- specifically, a Cold War-era delta-winged strategic bomber powered by four shrieking Rolls-Royce Olympus turbojets. It was designed to make life difficult for the Russians. Just 136 were built, and this is the last one still flying ... and for just a few more weeks at that. It will be retired, permanently, after a flight later this month.

Hyundai Tucson off road 2016

Hyundai is taking a second Tucson to this year’s SEMA show, but unlike its Bisimoto-prepared crossover cousin, Rockstar Performance Garage lifts this Tucson to new heights -- literally.
The folks at Rockstar got their hands a 2016 Hyundai Tucson and threw on a 6-inch lift to make it off-road ready. Of course, it being SEMA, a massive lift on a crossover SUV won't be enough to impress anyone, so Rockstar also pumps up the rest of the suspension to make sure it's more than just your average mall crawler: King Shocks 2.5-inch adjustable coilover struts sit up front, and 2.5-inch adjustable remote-reservoir shocks support the rear. In addition to the monster lift, Rockstar employs a Black Ops body kit so that the ultra-knobby 32-inch tall Mickey Thompson tires fit under the body.

Google Self Driving car spotted!

There it is! Someone spotted Google’s self-driving car in street trim (note the missing sensor on the top). Twitter user Tony Wang (@TonyW) managed to capture the beast in its natural habitat -- on the road. There aren’t any reports of accidents involving the autonomous vehicle, so we’re assuming that this road test went without a hitch. It makes us wonder when we’re going to see more of these running around.

BMW M2 2016

The wait is finally over for M-grade power in BMW’s stellar 2-Series chassis. The coupe will launch next spring with the company’s new turbocharged inline-six making 365 hp and 343 lb-ft of torque, good for a 0-60-mph sprint of just 4.2 seconds. That can be done by pretty much anyone -- there’s a launch control system that does all the hard work.
The engine features BMW’s “TwinPower” turbocharging and, with the overboost function, actually delivers 369 lb-ft of torque in the meat of the rev range. Dual-clutch automatics or six-speed rev-matching manuals will be offered. If you row your own, prepare to lose 0.2 second on the sprint. Power is sent to the rear wheels. Here, it goes through BMW’s Active M Differential, which uses sensors from the stability control, accelerator, brakes, wheels and more to make the best judgment on where and how to put power down.
